UPCOMING EVENTS

This season, Stitches of Erie is proud to host a knocker drive to benefit area breast cancer clinics. Knockers are free, machine-washable, prosthetic breasts for people who have had mastectomies. Knit or crocheted from an approved list of yarns (two of which Stitches carries - Lion Brand CoBoo and HiKoo Twisp), knockers fit into a regular bra and don’t require a prescription. Through September 30th, Stitches of Erie is collecting unstuffed knockers to be donated to local breast cancer clinics. We’ll also be hosting stuffing parties in August and September and have other drop off locations around Erie, listed below. Be sure to follow up on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok and subscribe to our newsletter to get all the updates on these events.

Download the free knit or crochet pattern here.
