Knitting in the Round - VIRTUAL

Wednesday, April 15th and 22nd, 2026, 7:00-8:30pm - ONLINE

This class is for those who know knitting basics and are ready to up their skills to knitting in the round. We'll be making the eM Hat by Emily Russel. The pattern is free on Ravelry.

There are two registration fee options: $20 if you want to provide your own supplies (see materials needed below) or $40 if Stitches provides the supplies (plus shipping if you need the supplies shipped). If you need your materials shipped, you must register by April 8, 2026 to ensure materials have enough time to ship to you.

Class 1 on April 15, we'll talk about various methods for casting on round projects, cast on the hat, and begin knitting. Homework will be to knit until it's time to decrease.

Class 2 on April 22, we'll discuss decreasing for the crown of the hat as well as finishing techniques.

Required Materials:

• 1 ball/skein of worsted weight (4) yarn | If Stitches-provided, it will be Kelbourne Woolens Keystone in a color of your choosing.
• 1 pair size 7 straight knitting needles
• 1 stitch marker
• 1 tapestry needle
